Winsford Flash Sailing Club has one of the best clubhouses in the Northwest.
There are warm changing rooms, showers, a bar and galley, and
tarmac surfaced car parks.

The Galley
Most people associate Sunday lunch with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding but at our club Sunday lunch means pie and beans. Yes there is other food, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and vegetarian meals, but to the die-hard WFSC club member there can be only one meal.

You can bring your own food if you wish; tea, coffee, and cold drinks are always available.
The Galley is where the delicious food for our social events is prepared, buffets, hot-pots and so on.

Every year we have a Christmas dinner when the club is seasonally decorated and a traditional dinner is served.

The Bar
After racing has finished most members retire to the bar, and over a pint of beer, or a glass of wine explain why they did not win, or why the sail fell down, or why they capsized.
While we have the usual draught beers, our Quartermaster takes pride in stocking an extensive range of bottled and canned drinks.

The bar is an essential part of the club social scene providing refreshments after sailing, at socials, prize giving, and private events like birthday parties that can be held at the club.

The Socials
Various entertainments are put on during the year by our Social Committee.
We have; dances, quizzes, quest speakers, and most famously 'The Pantomime'. This is written, acted and presented by club members and has been known to loosely resemble well-known traditional stories but with the addition of lots of local references and in-jokes. Members should check the back of the current years fixtures list.

We try to make WFSC a family club that is as appealing and attractive to all the members of the family whether they sail or not.
